Addison Middle School
The SciFair program for summer 2008 is being led by Ms. Catherine Olander and Ms. Robin Kerwan. Conservation will be the focus of Addison's summer program.
Week 1 (July 21st-25th)
Our students spent last week learning about maneuvering within the virtual world and creating signs and objects. They also learned how to use commands and triggers. They then spent some time furnishing their own homes in the homestead. The students are now in the process of researching their topic of conservation. They are beginning to plan on paper what their world will include as far as objects, scenery, and information. Steps have been taken, with the help of Mentor Philip Hoyler, to develop their virtual world for the showcase in mid-August.
