Haverling Middle School
Haverling's SciFair program is being run by Mr. Mike Binkowski. They have decided to focus on on Tornadoes for the next month.
Week 1 (July 21st-25th)
After basic training under the lead of Mentor Brandon Graham, the kids at Bath have undertaken the task of building Tornado alley. This includes the creation of houses, streets, scenery and informational signs and objects.
Week 2 (July 28th-August 1st)
Bath Middle School continues to work on their Tornado Alley virtual world. The world now includes Tornado Precautions, information on the difference between a Tornado Watch and Warning and data on the Fujita Scale. The software has been used to describe, through animation, some of the devastating effects of tornadoes.
